ABLE COMMISSION VOTES TO EXTEND TEMPORARY EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATIONS

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – April 17, 2020

During its first ever public teleconference meeting, the Oklahoma ABLE Commission unanimously voted to extend temporary emergency authorizations granted to various alcoholic beverage licensees last month. The temporary approvals, including curbside sales and home delivery of certain alcohol products, remain authorized until the Commission convenes again on May 15, 2020. “It is clear to me these emergency measures are playing an important part in slowing the spread of Covid-19, as well as
mitigating the financial impact on these businesses,” said Joe Forrest, Chairman of the Oklahoma ABLE Commission.
